The "15x Shortlisting" Rule
UPSSSC only calls the top 15-30 times the number of vacancies for the Mains exam. A mere "Pass" in PET is not enough. You need a 95+ Percentile to be safe. We focus on the high-weightage sections that others ignore.

Junior Assistant (Babu)
- Qualification: 12th Pass
- Typing: Hindi (25 wpm) & English (30 wpm)
- CCC: Mandatory
VDO (Village Development)
- Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (varies)
- Prerequisite: Valid PET Score
- Physical: Walking Test (Sometimes)
Forest Guard (Van Rakshak)
- Qualification: 12th Pass
- Height: Male 168cm / Female 152cm
- Walk: Male 25km (4hr) / Female 14km (4hr)

Aspirant FAQs
Is the PET score valid for a lifetime?
No. The UPSSSC PET scorecard is valid only for 1 Year from the date of result declaration. You must reappear every year to be eligible for new vacancies.
Which typing font is used in UPSSSC?
For Hindi Typing, candidates can usually choose between Mangal (Inscript) or Kruti Dev fonts. We train you on both to ensure you are comfortable.
Is there an interview for Group C posts?
No. Interviews have been abolished for Group C posts in Uttar Pradesh. Selection is purely based on the Written Exam (Mains) and qualifying Skill Tests.
